Hello again from Agilent vacuum technologies. Today we are here to discuss the Agilent IDP-3 oil free vacuum pump. The Agilent IDP-3 is a hermetically sealed dry scroll pump. It is the ideal choice for rough vacuum applications at research labs, pharmaceutical and biotech labs, industrial processes, gas recirculation or just about any application requiring rough vacuum. The IDP-3 is the smallest oil-free scroll pump on the market. It is available in standard AC voltages and 24 volts DC, making it easy to integrate into OEM systems. Its pumping mechanism consists of an orbiting scroll nested with a fixed scroll which compresses a volume of gas that exits the pump at a higher pressure, ultimately creating vacuum at its inlet. The IDP-3 is the highest performing dry pump in its class, and one of the quietest oil-free pumps on the market, greatly reducing the ambient background noise in your lab. The pump includes a gas ballast port for water vapor handling and non-hermetic applications, as well as an hour meter for monitoring runtime. With the optional isolation valve, your process is protected from unwanted power outages. The IDP-3 dry scroll pump is the best solution for many rough vacuum applications. Considering its hermetic design, small size, quiet operation and easy maintenance, this IDP excels against any competition. It truly is a pump in a class by itself.
