Affinity chromatography is one of the most effective ways to determinate the titer of monoclonal antibodies. Protein A and Protein G affinity chromatography columns absorb the IgG molecules onto the affinity resins which contain either immobilized protein A ligand or protein G ligand. Then, the remaining impurities and by-products from the fermentation broth can be removed. Elution of the purified monoclonal antibody and quantification by comparing the peak area to a calibration curve allows rapid measurement of the protein concentration. |Bio-Monolith Protein A and Protein G affinity columns are designed for analytical separation of all IgG subclasses (human and mouse). In the past it was necessary to use press-fit connectors with specific dimensions to connect columns of those dimensions. Modern press-fit connectors are "laser-milled" to provide highly reproducible taper angles throughout the length of the press-fit, ensuring an excellent seal. The press-fits are now treated with Agilent Ultra Inert deactivation to provide a robust and inert flow path.|Glass unions can be sealed with polyimide sealing resin which ensures a leak-free and solid connection. This method is recommended if glass press-fit unions are used.

PolarSil columns are based on polar modified silica and ideal for the organic GPC/SEC separation of low to medium molar mass resins and lignins with molecular weights from 100 to 1,000,000 Da using polar organic solvents. Multiple column configurations are available to match your specific application, including two particle sizes, 3 and 5 μm, and three porosities, 100, 300, and 1,000 Å as well as two different linear/mixed-bed columns.

Bio MAb HPLC columns feature a unique resin specifically designed for high resolution charge-based separations of monoclonal antibodies and similar therapeutics.|Bio MAb columns are available in 1.7 μm, 3 μm, 5 μm, and 10 μm particle sizes, providing higher resolution with the smaller particles. The Bio MAb column features a highly uniform, densely packed, weak cation exchange layer. The strong anion-exchange functionalities, covalently linked to a chemically stable polymer, facilitate anion-exchange purifications over a wide pH range and the anion exchange capacity is independent of pH. This stability can be exploited for column sanitation and clean-up, and also enables the use of denaturing conditions and stabilizing/solubilizing agents, as encountered in the purification of synthetic oligonucleotides with self-complementary sequences.
