Additionally, by conducting method validation tests, we were able to conclude that the FTIR quantification method is specific to the analyte of choice, precise, and accurate. The application note ultimately explores how the FTIR quantification is well suited for pass/fail QC lab testing given the intuitive image-guided workflows, colour-coded results, and rapid analysis for high throughput environments. The Agilent Resolve handheld Raman analyzer provides a powerful and flexible solution for polymer analysis, combining rapid material identification with deeper analytical insight. A newly published application note highlights a three-tiered workflow for polymer characterization using Resolve. First, polymers are identified using surface Raman measurements and onboard library matching, enabling fast, nondestructive classification without sample preparation.

Scattered (unquantifiable) light can deviate from the detector’s direct optical path, leading to incomplete light collection and inaccurate measurements. For these applications, using a DRA can optimize light collection. The integrating sphere’s design captures all scattered light uniformly, overcoming scattering losses for accurate measurement of transmitted light. In this application note, we employed the Cary 60 UV-Vis spectrophotometer , fitted with the Cary 60 UV-Vis Diffuse Reflectance Accessory (DRA) , to assess spectral transmission of one glass and two plastic pharmaceutical packaging systems.

Screen more than 1300 sets of separation conditions with up to 26 mobile phases and 8 columns.
Intuitive MAM data analysis software built for QC and regulatory compliance.
High-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and MAM have transformed biopharma drug discovery, yet QC adoption has lagged due to perceived complexity, high cost, and the need for specialized expertise. However, MAM implementation is crucial to ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory confidence.|A QC-ready, USP <1060>-aligned MAM solution now makes that possible. With modern, intuitive software and streamlined LC/MS detection on the Agilent Infinity III bio LC system with Agilent 6230C LC/TOF, QC teams can implement a MAM solution for peptide mapping without the need for expert-level MS knowledge.
Built-in capabilities, such as a ready-to-use system performance check for enhanced stability and Agilent VacShield for less downtime, ensure that methods run reliably day after day. This is MAM designed for QC: simple to deploy, easy to use, and fully aligned with regulatory expectations, so your lab can move smoothly from R&D innovation to routine QC use with confidence.
