But in instructions, it is described that on the dashboard, an icon for the pump should show up, where I can put in the length of the loop, etc. to configure the system. It doesn't do that. So far, I have just been recording the time and entering everything manually.

Hi all, I have a G1361 Prep pump. All the LA tests are passed and the instruments flow rate matches the set flow rate. The EMPV is also working fine. The only issue is that there is a loud sound when the pump is running which I narrowed down to being in the pump drive. It sounds squeaky and is periodic as the pump drive turns. I was wondering if there any sort of lubricant that can be applied? Or is there any other fix that can be done. Overall the instrument works great minus the loud sound from te pump drive.

We have a similar problem. Msd 5977b gc 7890b. But instead of a turbo pump, we have a diffusion pump. The symptoms are the same: the device works, but stops during a series at a random moment. Were you able to solve this problem? I think the problem is not In the pump.
