Measurement of protein-containing E+L migrates with ICP-MS
Measurement of protein-containing E+L migrates with ICP-MS

Hello, we have to determine 33 elements in E+L migrates using ICP-MS. Many of these E+L migrates contain proteins. After diluting the E+L migrates with an aqueous 2% HNO3/1% HCl solution (1:10), the proteins precipitate. Apart from digestion with nitric acid/hydrochloric acid (microwave), are there any other options for measuring these E+L migrates without problems?

I have been working on improving the existing quantitative method for our vaccine project, which involves using TOF-MS EIC for surrogate peptides. My goal is to establish a pseudo-MRM (PRM) setup using a targeted MS/MS approach. This setup includes a fast TOF-MS scan with a targeted list of precursor ions for MS/MS, with an accumulation time of 20 ms per precursor ion. I would appreciate any advice or pointers on critical method parameters for setting up this method, as well as guidance on data processing tools and optimizing the processing method. I have started using the "Quant My Way" tool but would welcome any additional insights. Looking forward to your suggestions.
