Agilent Technologies has established a company-wide effort to migrate from all existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to a single Oracle-based infrastructure system. We are looking forward to driving benefits for both you and ourselves as a result of Oracle's integrated supply chain capabilities.
Agilent Technologies is taking a "phased approach" to migrating each of its sites around the globe. We began this transformation process on June 12, 2002. However, it is important to note that Agilent did not migrate all of our sites to Oracle on June 12, 2002.
There will be a period of about 22 months when we will be operating in the Oracle environment at some sites while using our legacy ERP systems at other sites. During this period, suppliers may have to use different process if they are supporting Agilent Technologies sites that have migrated to Oracle and sites that have not migrated to Oracle.

For direct material we have migrated Penang, Malaysia; Singapore; Cotati, CA; Rohnert Park, CA; Santa Rosa, CA to the Oracle ERP system, which was effective from June 12th 2002. We are currently working on the migration strategy for the remainder of our sites.
For indirect material we have migrated Australia, Canada,
Hong Kong, Malaysia and United States which was effective from June 12th 2002.
As of December 2002, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, India, Mexico, Netherlands,
New Zealand, Philippines, Spain, and United Kingdom have migrated.
