Your Cary spectrophotometer
is compatible with a wide range of fiber optic probes so you can measure samples outside the spectrophotometer’s sample compartment. By using a probe you do not have to fill a sample cell, which is especially useful for quantitative analysis in quality control labs where large numbers of samples must be analyzed quickly. Remote measurement is also perfect for small sample volumes, large samples that cannot mount inside your spectrophotometer, reactions in baths, pilot plant measurements, poisonous or dangerous samples, samples in sterile environments, and samples in high temperature or pressure conditions.
We offer dip probes and probes to measure transmission, reflectance and absorption. You can also buy custom probe holders and lengths of optical fibers to meet your specific laboratory set up.
