Determine photometric accuracy without limits on temperature, wavelength, or spectral bandwidth (SBW). The Double Aperture Photometric Accuracy kit, a plate with two separate holes that can be separately covered or uncovered, produces two independent light fluxes onto the detector from the instrument's sample beam.
Photometric accuracy traditionally uses solutions of high purity compounds or measures absorbance of calibrated neutral density filters issued by a national standards organization. Both methods are limited because accuracy needs to be determined at a specific temperature and wavelength, and neutral density filters require a specific SBW.
