The Flow Blurring technology used by the OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer creates a fine aerosol with a narrow size distribution, where most droplets are sized less than 10 μm in diameter. The high proportion of smaller droplets ensures higher sample transport efficiency. This efficiency increases sensitivity by a factor of 2–15 times (depending on nebulizer type used for comparison), even at low sample uptake rates.
Excellent precision and low detection limits
The smaller droplets are more efficiently desolvated and excited in the plasma, ensuring typical precision achieved when using the OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer is less than 1 % RSD. With higher sample transport efficiency, the OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer improves analytical sensitivity, which means you can also achieve improved (lower) detection limits.
High Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) tolerance
The OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer provides greater tolerance to samples with higher TDS levels, so you can run samples that may induce blockage with conventional nebulizer designs. For example up to 5 % TDS is often found in estuarine waters, brines, fine chemicals, or used oil samples where there are suspended particulates.
Superb long-term stability
The OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer provides superb stability over long term measurement, with excellent chemical resistance and tolerance to higher TDS levels in the sample.
Unlike some nebulizers that are required for running high TDS samples, the OneNeb provides the fastest washout characteristics. This means that shorter rinse times are required, increasing sample throughput and reducing the chance of memory effects.
The OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer eliminates the hassle and delays of switching between different nebulizers when you need to change applications. With the OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer you don't need to switch from the nebulizer you use for routine samples to a microflow nebulizer to measure volume limited samples. Or switch to a high solids capable nebulizer to run samples with high TDS levels. Or switch to an inert nebulizer to measure samples prepared in aggressive acid digests. The OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer can even be operated over a wide range of solution flow rates without sacrificing sensitivity.
The polymeric construction (ETFE body with PEEK fittings) ensures the OneNeb Series 2 is suitable for virtually any sample. Including common organic solvents used in the petrochemical industry, and sample digests from geochemical fusions that are prepared in aqua regia, HF or four acid digests (HClO4 - HCl - HNO3 - HF).
The OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer is also physically robust, so there's virtually no risk of damage if you accidentally drop it, or if it collides with other parts. Unlike conventional glass concentric nebulizers, it will still be intact and continue to provide great performance.
Simple and easy-to-use
The OneNeb Series 2 nebulizer is directly compatible with most conventional glass cyclonic and inert spray chambers. Simply replace your existing glass concentric nebulizer with the OneNeb Series 2. No other method changes are required.
Handle the OneNeb Series 2 like a conventional nebulizer. Simply rinse with your rinse solution when your analysis is complete and clean regularly.
