Download Software - Feature Extraction Software

1. Prior to installation, review the System Requirement, and Installation Guide.
   
   NOTE: For non-Agilent supplied PCs running Windows 10 v.1803 or later, Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package must be installed prior to the installation of Feature Extraction 12.2.0.7. This file (vcredist_x86) is provided with the FE 12.2.0.7 installation package zip download and must be installed prior to FE 12.2.0.7. You only need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribution Package if you will be installing Feature Extraction on a PC that, 1) was not provided by Agilent, and 2) is running Windows 10 version 1803 or later. For more information see the Installation Guide.
2. Verify your current software revision, in the FE software, go to Help -> About
3. Determine how to manage your existing FE Protocols, Grid Templates (design files) and QC Metric Sets.
   • Upgrade from FE 12.0.x or 12.1.x to 12.2.0.7:  Download the MIGRATION UTILITY TOOL and use it to migrate your FE Protocols, Grid Templates (design files) and QC Metric Sets to FE 12.2.0.7 Reference the MIGRATION UTILITY USER GUIDE.
4. Backup your files (Export/ Save or Migration Utility)
5. Download the Feature Extraction software
6. Uninstall existing version of FE
7. Install the new version of FE per the Installation Guide.
8. Import your saved files (Reference the FE User Guide)

First time user must Download a 30-day demo license and activate with software Host Name.

   • Upgrade from FE 12.1.0.x  to 12.1.1.1:  Manually export (save) any FE Protocols, Grid Templates (design files) and QC Metric Sets prior to uninstalling the FE software. Reference the FE User Guide.
   • Upgrade from FE 11.5 or 12.0.x.x to 12.1.1.1:  Download the MIGRATION UTILITY TOOL and use it to migrate your FE Protocols, Grid Templates (design files) and QC Metric Sets to FE 12.1.1.1. Reference the MIGRATION UTILITY USER GUIDE.
