Synthetic human gastrin-17 non-sulphated form, coupled to bovine serum albumin.
Purified immunoglobulin fraction of rabbit antiserum provided in liquid form. In 0.1 mol/L NaCl, 15 mmol/L NaN3.
The antibody reacts with human non-sulphated and sulphated forms of gastrin-17 as well as gastrin-34, and cross-reacts about 20% with cholecystokinin octapeptide (CCK-8). Traces of contaminating antibodies have been removed by solid-phase absorption with bovine plasma proteins. The specificity of the antibody has been ascertained as follows:
Crossed immunoelectrophoresis: No precipitation arch appears when using 12.5 µL A 0568 per cm2 gel area against 2 µL of human plasma or 2 µL bovine serum. Staining: Coomassie Brilliant Blue.
The focus of the sixth edition of the IHC Guidebook is to provide a comprehensive immunohistochemistry (IHC) resource for lab managers, lab technicians, learning pathologists, and students from around the world.
