The Agilent xCELLigence RTCA eSight software drives the Agilent xCELLigence RTCA eSight instrument with flexible assay set up, real-time impedance and imaging acquisition, and integrated analysis tools. The RTCA eSight supports a broad range of labware—including the Agilent E-Plate VIEW 96, standard 96-well plates, and formats from 6- to 384-well plates, dishes, and flasks. It offers both real-time and offline modes for continuous monitoring or post-run analysis. With version 1.4.0, the software introduced support for up to five 96-well regular imaging microplates, 3D organoid workflows, and features to support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and GMP environments.
The base software provides the core functionality to set up, run, and analyze real-time cell assays. By combining impedance and imaging, it monitors adhesion, proliferation, viability, and cytotoxicity in 2D cultures. Built-in tools such as slope, doubling time, percent of control, and EC50/IC50 calculations ensure reliable, reproducible results.
With version 1.5.0, an optional AI add-on license introduces AI-powered, label-free cell segmentation for automated cell counting, faster analysis, and more reproducible image analysis workflows.
Additional application modules expand these capabilities with immunotherapy assays, 3D spheroid and organoid analysis, single-cell tracking, dilution cloning, and wound healing. This modular design gives researchers the flexibility to study processes ranging from immune cell killing to migration and clonal development.
