Readme (Please read this prior to
proceeding)
- Detailed information about procedures and minimal
system requirements needed for this revision.
- Please also
refer to the Install Guide.
Please
install the software in the order below.
1)
Configure UAC settings if the operating system is Vista.
- If the operating system on your PC is Vista, please
configure UAC settings.
2)
Install Microsoft Excel 2007
- If it has been
already installed in your PC, you may skip this installation.
3)
Install ICP-MS MassHunter
- Confirm the instrument is in Shutdown mode before
installing ICP-MS MassHunter. If the instrument is in Standby mode, put
the instrument into Shutdown mode.
- You must first log in as an Administrator (computer
system administrator) to install ICP-MS MassHunter.
- Set 1600 by 1200 pixels or 1680 by 1050 pixels as the
screen resolution.
- If old version of software is installed, backup the
appropriate files by using Microsoft explorer and uninstall old version
of software before installing ICP-MS MassHunter.
4)
Configure Microsoft Excel 2007 for ICP-MS MassHunter Add-in
- Configure Microsoft Excel 2007 for ICP-MS MassHunter
Add-in. This step must be done for each Windows logon user.
Demo Data
- Demo data is stored at \DemoData. If necessary,
please copy the data to ICP-MS MassHunter Data folder.
