Analysis file almost upward compatible (*note 1)
    Method file same
    Data file same
    Tune file same
    Sequence file same
    Chained Sequence file	same
Report Template	file	almost upward compatible (*note 2)

*note 1:
The below analysis file generated in Rev.A.01must be reprocessed
         once in Rev.A.02.
            - Chromatogram data
            - Calibration curve converted from standard addition method
*note 2:
Report Item; "LevelConcRSD" is renamed: "LevelRSD".
The report template which uses this item must be revised.

Between MassHunter (G7200A) and ChemStation (G1834A/B)
    Method file upward compatible
Calibration file not used, but can be imported into MassHunter.
Data file upward compatible (*note 1)

*note 1:
MassHunter can not read G1834A/B ChemStation data files that
have been edited using the "Average File Editor" function of
ChemStation (If necessary, you can import data files from
ChemStation before editing, and reject any replicate data in the
         MassHunter software).

Known Limitations
-------------------------------------------------------------------
- The LAN cable or serial cable connected to the autosampler should
not be removed or installed while MassHunter is running.
Do not turn off the auto sampler while the MassHunter is running.

- Agilent BootP Service (LAN model) is necessary.
After this service has been installed, it is automatically started and
stopped along with Windows execution and shutdown. Do not stop or
   disable this service manually.

- Screen savers and power management features of the PC BIOS and Windows
should be disabled. These can cause undue loading of the CPU that may
result in loss of data from the ICP-MS during busy data collection periods.

- Long file names cannot be used. When setting file names in MassHunter
(data file names, method file names, sequence file names, chained sequence
file names, QC mode files etc.,) or creating the folder in which
MassHunter is to be installed, use a maximum of 8 characters.

- If the data file folder currently being acquired is opened by another
application like Explorer, there is a possibility that Data Analysis will
generate an error when it analyzes the acquired data.

- To abort "Autotune", please use the "Abort" button on the Autotune
Situation window. Do not click "Abort" on the system menu.
If "Abort" on the system menu is selected, the program may not finish
   correctly.

- Generating a batch report may take a protracted time (e.g. more than
a few hours). And it will fail if the PC resource (memory, CPU usage)
is insufficient. To generate a batch report, use the "Quick Batch Report" or
"Export Table" function and print it using Excel 2007.

- If the ROM version of the ASX500 software is ver.1.4 or earlier,
the ASX500 may hang up when 0 sec is set for the "Rinse" or
when you stop a sequence that has already started.
To check the version, follow the steps listed below:
     1. Select "ASX500" in the autosampler box in the ICP-MS
        Configuration screen.
     2. Click "Cmdline on" in the Acquisition system menu.
     3. Enter "ALSCOMMAND "VER"(ENTER-KEY)" in the command line.

- When cancelling a print job from the QC Tune Criteria or Sample Log Table,
the next print out is sometimes merged with the cancelled print out.
Printing should be executed again in this case.

- When using the User Access Control Pack, the ICP-MS MassHunter user
accounts must have set a password. For security purposes users with
no password will not be able to logon to the ICP-MS MassHunter.
