Preface
-------------------------
This Software Status Bulletin (SSB) documents all known problems in the software
product designated above. The SSB is derived from Known Problem Reports (KPR)
which result from user problems that have been classified as documentation
problems or software defects. When a KPR is written, an identifying number is
assigned to it, and the KPR is added to the next edition of the SSB.

User inputs that have been classified as Enhancement Requests are not documented
in the SSB. User problems that have been submitted, but that have not been
classified by the time the SSB is generated are not included in the SSB.

How to use the SSB
-------------------------
When you experience a problem with a product, first check this SSB to see if the
problem has been reported already, and if there is a temporary workaround
available for the problem, or if the problem has already been fixed by a new
revision. If the problem is not listed in this SSB then you may wish to report
it to the Response Center or to your field support representative.

To determine if your problem is documented in this SSB, first look in the
Keyword Index section of the SSB. Under each keyword is a listing of one-line
descriptions of related KPRs. If any of these sound like yours, locate the KPR
# in the Known Problem Reports section of the SSB, and read the full KPR. The
KPRs in the Known Problem Reports section are sorted by KPR #.

There are two sections in the SSB:
Keyword Index: This index is categorized by keyword. For each KPR there is a
brief description and a KPR #. A KPR may be associated with more than one
keyword.

Known Problem Reports: This section contains KPRs, with all the available
information relevant to the problem. KPRs in this section are sorted by KPR #.

One-line Description:

6890 with G1888 missing vial proceeds, but sequence gets out of sync

Problem:

Start a 4 line sequence to G1888 with vial 2 missing. The hardware skips to vial 3, etc, correctly. The Instrument Log correctly shows that Vial 2 was missing, skipping to vial 3. However, the sequence does not abort vial 2, instead putting vial 3's data into vial 2's line in Run Automation. At completion of the sequence which seemingly runs for the time of the four runs, vial 2 shows Error: unexpected exception, Vial 3 is noted as 'State: Executing' and Vial 4 is 'Scheduled.'

Indicated limits for Transfer Line Diameter in Chromeleon Instrument Configuration different to instrument

Problem:

The indicated allowed range for Transfer Line Diameter in ICF’s Configuration is 0.25 to 0.53 mm (250 to 530 microns). But on the instrument front panel the range can be set from 200 to 600 microns. When a value outside the 0.25 to 0.53 range is set in the instrument configuration, the enter box background becomes yellow.

Chromeleon: HSS method migration: Changing Carrier parameter in HSS method UI does neither trigger dirty UI nor script refresh

Problem:

After migrating a method (GC7890 controlled by native Thermo driver and HSS7697A controlled by Thermo ICF) to Agilent drivers for Thermo Chromeleon a change in the HSS7697A method UI carrier settings does not trigger a dirty UI. Possibly therefore, no HSS inject command is added to the script.

Problem:

ICF 2.6.30 Update 3 with GC/HS driver 3.1.205 repackaged connected to 8860 with 7697 12 vial sampler. Select HS method Times view. With a GC oven time set, the text next to the GC Cycle time always reads incorrectly: 'Oven program reported by the GC is 0 minutes long.'

ICF Headspace Vial Status shows different/wrong Status from Activity Log

Problem:

Set all Sequence actions to Skip. Vial 1 is wrong size, vial 2 is missing, during vial 3's equilibration, open the GC oven door, vial 4 has no septum.
The activity log shows correctly 'Incorrect vial size found on vial 1', but HS Vial Status shows 'Timed out waiting for datasystem ready on vial 1'. Activity Log shows correctly ;Timed out waiting for datasystem ready on vial 3', but the Vial Status shows 'Run Aborted'.

Problem:

After having started the sequence, the "Vial Status" having a "Lock"-Symbol is not in sync with the messages we get from ICF regarding locked lines. So the Chromeleon sequence shows 3 lines locked (marked yellow), the Vial Status Window show only two locks for vial 1 and 2.

7697A HCV: ICF logs additional 'Error: leak test failure -Sample Skipped' after 'Warning: Leak test failed - Sample Continuing'; MHE sample to same vial abort incorrectly

Problem:

Start sequence using MHE method to the same vial. Sequence action is to continue on leak. Detailed Status shows both injections fail for leak test failure, Sample continuing. However, there is an additional 'Error: leak test failed - Sample Skipped' for both. Then the second injection aborts both the run (both injections) and the sequence. Run Automation and Sample ID shows 'unexpected exception'.

Problem:

The Sequence Validation for Blank runs has been implemented on 3.3 (TT 284720). The Chromeleon team verified that the Blank Run issue is detected through sequence Validation. But they found the error message is presented as a formatting "template": "Blank Run are not supported on {0} Headspace Sampler".

One-line Description:

Barcode Mismatch Actions Are Sequence Scoped, not sample Scoped

Problem:

ICF supports changing the barcode mismatch option (inject, don't inject, etc) on a sample basis. The HS driver only supports this on a sequence basis as it constructs methods to send to the firmware and doesn't check to see if the selected action has changed between samples (which would require a new firmware method).
