PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 3, 2003

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced the release of a new CD-ROM for the maintenance and repair of the Agilent 1100 Series high-performance liquid chromatograph, the most frequently sold HPLC system worldwide. It includes easy-to-follow procedures that allow users to get assistance with maintenance tasks and quick repairs of their LC and LC/MSD systems.

The Agilent 1100 Series Maintenance and Repair CD-ROM covers almost all standard 1100 Series modules, including the 1100 Series LC/MSD. The information is arranged similar to Agilent's reference manuals and supported with more than 100 video clips. It includes optimization guides for a wide range of configurations and applications, full text search and printout routines. Other benefits include the following:

  • detailed maintenance steps, starting with front cover removal and part identification;

  • system optimization guides to help users optimize system performance and understand system functionality and requirements.

The CD-ROM runs under Microsoft(r) Windows NT(r), 2000 and XP. It includes subtitles for all audio files and therefore can also be used without a sound card. Additional information is available at www.agilent.com/chem/1100.
