Conversion Buddy (with Expression Buddy)

More FREEWARE, courtesy of Jim Presley and suitable for Windows95/NT®. This version incorporates a new facility called Expression Buddy which calculates the result and standard error on custom expressions. As you might expect from its title, Conversion Buddy converts from one unit of measurement to another -- the clever bit is that it's unnecessary to know whether the unit is mass or volume or whatever, it decides what's appropriate so that it only offers relevant conversion options !

Comprehensive help and tutorials provided. Conversion Buddy's rounding (or "precision") is based on the approach outlined in the National Institute of Standards and Technology SP811 report from where the Help material originates.

If you want a smaller download, you might opt just the Expression Buddy alone.
