Facilitating Relationships with Universities...Agilent's University Relations team works to build solid relationships with colleges and universities around the world in areas of mutual interest. We provide a single point of contact for university access to the Agilent Technologies University Relations Program. Agilent's Commitment to Colleges and Universities WorldwideAs the world's premier measurement company and a committed global citizen, Agilent takes an active role in supporting higher education and research. Agilent's University Relations programs include research grants, fellowships, philanthropic equipment grants, and matching of employee gifts to colleges and universities. In these ways, we extend our basic research program, stimulate education and research in areas of importance to our future, contribute time and expertise to research programs, introduce our company and products to future Agilent employees, and contribute to the educational infrastructure in the communities where we conduct business. Effective 2006Agilent does not accept requests for grants and fellowships to universities through our website. Agilent's grants to universities will be awarded through internally driven initiatives that are aligned with our strategic research directions. Research Partnerships with Agilent Professional connections between faculty and Agilent research staff emerge in areas of overlapping interests. Such connections are quite helpful in generating research proposals of mutual interest. To help uncover areas of overlapping interest, guest lectures can be arranged when faculty (working in areas relating to Agilent's interests in the electronic measurements, life sciences, and chemical analysis) are traveling near Agilent research or R&D sites. This is especially useful at our largest research site in California's Silicon Valley. If such a lecture is of interest, please feel free to contact us at university_relations@agilent.com. Educator's CornerAgilent's one-stop education resource for college and university engineering educators and researchers looking to enhance their higher education curriculum and research capabilities.
