Recently-announced simulation technology enhancements to Agilent EEsof EDA Advanced Design System (ADS) and RF Design Environment (RFDE) have extended the reach of harmonic balance simulation to highly non-linear circuits such as digital dividers used in RFIC circuits, oscillators with divider chains, synthesizers, direct conversion receivers, and transceivers with complex frequency management.     more »

Downloadable Add-on for ADS 2005A and RFDE 2005A

This enhanced harmonic balance simulation technology is available to currently supported customers through Agilent EEsof EDA Knowledge Center, as an add-on to to Advanced Design System 2005A and RF Design Environment 2005A.

It offers significant enhancements to simulation robustness and performance when simulating circuits such as frequency dividers, VCO/prescaler cascades, direct conversion receivers and complex LO generators.
