Functional Metabolic Analysis in Live Cells

The role of metabolism in cellular and physiological processes is well established, with many diseases now linked to metabolic dysfunction or reprogramming. Using Agilent Seahorse XF Analyzers, scientists are able to easily obtain powerful functional data from live cells, in real time, providing a greater understanding of cell metabolism, and enabling new advancements in life science research. Seahorse XF Analyzers simultaneously measure the two major energy pathways of the cell - mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis - in live cells, in real time.

Seahorse XF Analyzers utilize patented transient microchambers which enable sensitive, precise, and non-destructive measurements of cell metabolism.
