SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 2, 2011
Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that a recent independent survey once again named Agilent as the preferred partner for laboratories that must measure up to regulatory and quality standards. More than 350 survey respondents in North America and Europe ranked Agilent Compliance Services as their top choice for general laboratory compliance services and instrument qualification.
Agilent has consistently held this position every year the independent survey has been conducted since 1995, during which it has made more than 100,000 successful qualification deliveries.
Qualification of laboratory instrumentation is an integral part of compliance with regulatory and quality standards such as Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, ISO17025, and United States Pharmacopeia.
"When you seek out a compliance partner, the experience of other customers is a good predictor of the satisfaction you will receive," said Gary Powers, Agilent SSD Compliance Program manager. "Especially when a lab has instruments from multiple manufacturers, achieving compliance can be a time-sink and a paperwork nightmare. An experienced compliance partner is an asset that can help overcome these challenges, reduce the costs of compliance, and avoid the risk of failed audits."
