Product portfolio speeds design and production of UWB, Bluetooth, Bluetooth EDR, WLAN, WiMAX and MIMO devices LONDON, Wireless Connectivity World, Booth 510, May 24, 2005
Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today is demonstrating several new products in its wireless networking test portfolio that reduce the number of design iterations and overall development costs for R&D and reduce the time and cost of manufacturing wireless devices. "Keeping up with the wireless connectivity standards is challenging for lead adopters who can't always wait for the standards to stabilize," said Pat Byrne, president of Agilent's Electronic Products and Solutions Group. "Agilent continually introduces solutions to cover the evolving wireless connectivity applications. We provide a breadth of products and expertise to assure confidence for wireless designers and manufacturers bringing new products to market -- we help speed the entire process." Agilent will present the industry's first multiformat test set to include Bluetooth( EDR and the industry's first multiband OFDM UWB signal creation software in the Agilent stand (Hall 6/7/8, Stand 510). In addition, the following existing wireless networking test products for ultra-wideband (UWB), Bluetooth, WLAN, WiMAX and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) will be shown: UWB For UWB, Agilent is demonstrating the DSO80000 ultra-high-performance Infiniium oscilloscope with the 89600 VSA software, the E4440A PSA with FCC spurious emissions measurement, the E8267D PSG vector signal generator with N7619A Signal Studio for Multiband OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) UWB, N6030A arbitrary waveform generator, Advanced Design System (ADS) 2004A UWB Design Exploration Library, and Staccato Communications' Ripcord UWB PHY microModule.
Bluetooth and WLAN For Bluetooth and WLAN, Agilent is showing the N4010A wireless connectivity test set. For Bluetooth Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) Agilent will present the first multiformat test set to include Bluetooth EDR, the N4010A with Option 105. For WLAN, Agilent will show the new WLAN measurement personality for the PSA Series high-performance spectrum analyzers and E4438C ESG with Signal Studio for 802.11 WLAN.
WiMAX For WiMAX, Agilent is showing the 89600 Series vector signal analysis (VSA) software, N7613A Signal Studio for 802.16-2004 (WiMAX) with the E4438C ESG vector signal generator, and the Wavesat DM256 Reference Kit.
MIMO For MIMO, Agilent is featuring the 89600 Series VSA and E4438C ESG, and is demonstrating live measurements. The ESG enables users to generate phase-coherent waveforms between multiple signal generators for simulating a true MIMO environment. The VSA offers a number of dual-channel measurements for MIMO including coherence, auto-correlation, cross-correlation, and channel frequency response. Two-channel RF inputs are being shown using the VSA. Further Information Additional information about these products is available at www.agilent.com/find/wirelessconnectivity.
