Stephen Williams
Vice President, Assistant General Counsel
Stephen Williams is vice president, assistant general counsel and assistant secretary of Agilent Technologies. He is responsible for a team which provides legal advice to the company, management and the board of directors in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities law, executive compensation and benefits, employment law, real estate, and stock plan administration matters. Prior to assuming this position in 2009, Williams was managing counsel supporting the company’s merger and acquisition activities, securities law compliance and corporate governance.
Before joining Agilent in 2005, Williams spent almost 10 years practicing corporate, securities and merger and acquisition law with law firms in San Francisco and Wilmington, Delaware, Williams received a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is an active member of the California and Delaware bars.
