John Pouk is vice president and general manager of worldwide sales to life science markets for Agilent.  His organization is responsible for developing and managing all sales channels that link Agilent’s LSG and CAG products and services to life science customers worldwide.

Pouk worked in a variety of senior level sales and field operations positions in the bio-pharmaceutical, government, academia, and clinical laboratories markets before joining Agilent as part of the company’s Stratagene acquisition in 2007.  

At Stratagene, Pouk served as senior vice president, global sales and international operations. Other positions he held there included vice president of sales and director of worldwide sales.  Pouk also worked within the life sciences and medical divisions of Fisher Scientific Company, serving as the vice president and general manager of the western region.

Pouk holds a B.A. degree in biology and a graduate degree in medical technology from Augustana College in Illinois.
