GOOI Soon Chai

GOOI Soon Chai is Senior Vice President of Order Fulfillment and Supply Chain where he is responsible for leading the effort to leverage Agilent’s strength in manufacturing, procurement and logistics across the company’s three business groups -- Life Sciences (LSG), Chemical Analysis (CAG) and Electronic Measurement (EMG).

Prior to his current appointment in December 2011, Gooi was the vice president and general manager of the Electronic Instruments Business Unit in EMG. In this role, he managed a diverse portfolio of businesses serving the general purpose, semiconductor, board-test and nanotechnology markets. His previous experience includes the consolidation and streamlining of the order fulfillment and global supply chain for the electronic measurement businesses, and the establishment of the Asia Instruments Business Unit in Asia.

Gooi joined the company in 1985. He holds a bachelor's degree with first class honors in electrical and electronics engineering from London University, and a master's degree in computer engineering from Imperial College London.
